There will be no school Monday, March 16th - Friday, March 20th for the Spring Break holiday! All students, staff, and Waitz families are encouraged to have a safe, restful week! Don't forget to read your library books!

Congratulations to Ms. Fabiola Salinas for being selected as our 2019-2020 Teacher of the Year! We appreciate everything you do for our students!

All our Waitz families are invited to join us for Open House from 4:30 - 6:00 PM on Monday, March 2nd! We hope to see everyone there!

March 2nd-6th is Dr. Seuss Week! All students and staff are encouraged to participate in the daily activities throughout the week!

Please join us on Saturday, February 29th for our first ever 5K Run/Walk/Leap and support our Waitz PPCD class! Click on the link to register!

On Wednesday, February 19th all 4th grade students will be benchmark testing. Student lunch times will be a little different to accommodate the testing schedule. Parents will not be allowed to eat lunch with 4th grade students.

On Monday, February 17th all 3rd grade students will be benchmark testing. Student lunch times will be a little different to accommodate the testing schedule. Parents will not be allowed to eat lunch with 3rd grade students.

All 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students will be Benchmark Testing on Monday, February 10th and Tuesday, February 11th. Student lunch times will be a little different to accommodate the testing schedule. Parents will not be allowed to eat lunch with their 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade student(s).

February 3rd-7th is National School Counseling Week! Waitz Elementary is proud to honor our wonderful Counselor, Ms. Cristina Garcia this week. We are extremely blessed to have such a kind and caring individual working with our students and staff! Thank you Ms. Garcia for everything you do for Waitz!
