All students will be required by Mission CISD to use a clear or mesh backpack during the 2022-2023 school year for safety purposes. Waitz Elementary will provide one clear backpack to every enrolled student during the first week of school for free. Families are welcome to purchase their own clear or mesh backpacks.

Waitz will be conducting state testing throughout the week of May 9 - May 13, 2022.
